We are always looking for yummy meat marinades. This one was especially delicious. I had originally pulled the marinade together on Saturday, but since we wanted to grill and it started pouring (go figure!) we waited to cook til Sunday. Not sure if it’s the marinade itself or the length of time it was in the marinade OR both!
Ingredients
- ½ cup virgin olive oil
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 cup lemon juice
- ¾ light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp fresh snipped rosemary
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 6 chicken breasts OR 3.5 lbs of chicken
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a large zip lock bag – mix thoroughly
- Add chicken to the bag and place closed ziplock bag into a large bowl (just in case the bag leaks!)
- Place bag in fridge and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours
- Grill or bake the chicken per your usual method
