Filet au poivre..

Well, we’ve made this a bazillion times thru the years, but tonight I tried a new recipe. Just slightly different. And oh soooooo yummy. The au poivre sauce was amazing. Steaks cooked perfectly. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

Cosmopolitan

Mix equal parts in martini glass with crushed ice. Shake well. Do not stir. (Had to say that ala James Bond!) Strain into martini glass. ENJOY! I did!

Roasted asparagus

Preheat oven to 425. Wash asparagus and trim tough ends. Spread on greased jelly roll pan in single layer. Pour a bit of olive oil on top Sprinkle creole seasoning on top. Roast for about 10 minutes. Serve immediately! Enjoy!

Butter yeast rolls.

OOOH these smell amazing as always!!! Total time so far about 2 hours. Made the dough. It rose. Punched it down. Rose again. Framed the rolls. Baking now.

Margaritas

Yum. Nothing like homemade margaritas. Squeeze 4 limes. 4 shots agavero tequila (we can no longer buy here in NC so DH imports from SC!). 2 shots orange liqueur Mix all together. Serve over crushed ice.
