My Mom adored pecan pie – her all time favorite. I thought I’d post this recipe in her honor. I used to bake the pies, and wrap them up tightly and SHIP them to her 🙂
I love this recipe as it’s not overly sweet – uses brown sugar instead of corn syrup!
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 heaping cup pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Beat the eggs. Add all the remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes.
