DD and I worked on painting the deck today. I despise painting a deck. I so wish the original owners if this house had NEVER painted the back deck and rails.
However, I digress…
To easily paint railings do the following:
Find a long thin sponge that will go around the entire rail. I bought a fat sponge and cut it in thirds lengthwise
Put on plastic gloves. We even wrapped DDs arms in plastic wrap!
Dip sponge into paint soaking it pretty well.
Squeeze out
Wrap around the top of the rail
Use both hands and pull sponge down the entire length of the rail
This saves soooooo much time
And turns out great!
