This beer cheese dip was delicious with the warm baked pretzels!!!
Ingredients
- 8 oz whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sliced yellow onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 oz Havarti cheese, shredded
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 Tbs corn starch
- 1 Tbs water
- 1/2 cup German beer
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine whipping cream, onion and salt and pepper
- Bring to a simmer; add both types of shredded cheese and whisk until cheeses are melted
- Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl until combined
- Add this cornstarch mixture to the cheese mixture
- Pour in 1/2 cup beer
- Whisk over medium heat until sauce thickens
- Remove from heat
- Serve immediately
