I wanted a new crust for a lemon meringue pie (recipe to follow soon) that I whipped up the other day. And this one TOTALLY fit the bill! YUMMMY!!
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 Tbs unsalted butter
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Melt butter, mix with pecans and sugar. Press in pie plate.
- Bake approximately 12 minutes - pecans will be lightly toasted.
- Crust will slip down, press back up the sides.
This would be great with a chocolate pie or a key lime as well 🙂
