I cannot tell you how much I have been enjoying your blog. You make cooking seem so effortless and everything you make looks absolutely delish! I had a leftover pie shell (you know they come in packages of two and I only used one at Thanksgiving for pumpkin pie…) so DD#2 and I made the Chocolate chess pie from the Angus Barn. But only because you posted pictures that made the preparation seem idiot-proof. That and because I have that same big glass mixing bowl from Pampered Chef that you used. For some reason, that gave me confidence. Anyway, my DH LOVED the pie! Said it tasted just like what he has had at the Angus Barn. (Quick note: I do not get to eat at the Angus Barn but he goes there fairly often for his job). DS#1 also loved it- in fact he ate almost the whole pie. Note to self: For my crowd I will have to make 2 pies next time so that everyone gets a taste. Poor DD#1 and DS#2 didn’t get any. Anyway, I look forward to trying more of your recipes. Have you considered making a cookbook?
