I made these for the baby shower last week. I could have eaten the whole pan, I had to restrain myself 😉
2 – 12 count packages of King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (small dinner rolls)
1 1/2 pounds of Virginia Ham ***NOT*** honey ham
12 slices Swiss cheese (I happened to have some shredded swiss on hand that I also used!)
1 stick real butter
1 tsp Worcestershire sacue
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp poppy seeds
Use 2 9×13 pans. Grease the pans.
Slice the rolls, place the bottom half of each roll in the 2 pans. Place ham (about 2 shaved slices or so) on the rolls.
Cut the cheese slices into 4 parts and place 2 small pieces on top of each ham sandwich. Put the roll tops on over the cheese.
Melt the butter and mix in the Worcestershire, garlic and onion powders, and the poppy seeds. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the ham sandwiches.
Cover tightly with foil. Let sit in fridge overnight or at least for an hour.
Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes (leave covered).
Serve immediately. They are great served hot and even at room temperature 🙂
Enjoy!!!
