Might sound stupid.
Or you may think “oh that is common sense”.
But it might not be to everyone!!
When pouring liquid or soup or chowder or even gravy into a food or freezer bag, do the following and it will save you clean up afterwards!!!
Open the bag completely.
Place the opened bag in a same size mixing bowl or large measuring bowl. (I always use a large glass bowl.).
Press the bag up against the sides of the bowl.
POUR into the bag. Walaaa.
Seal up the bag and freeze.
IF you have a steady hand the bowl won’t even be dirty!!
