Coleslaw Recipe

Love fresh coleslaw with barbeque!  The nice and creamy coleslaw sets off the spicy pork!  And let’s face it – it’s a ‘southern thang”!

Coleslaw Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbs white sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs white vinegar
  • 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp celery seeds
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 pounds shredded cabbage, with shredded carrots mixed in

Instructions

  1. Mix mayo, sugar, lemon juice, vinegars, honey, celery seeds, salt and pepper in large bowl until creamy.
  2. Pour cabbage in large bowl.
  3. Add dressing, mix well.
  4. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving, this allows the flavors to develop.
